Argon Peduli Hosts Blood Donation Drives in 14 Cities to Commemorate Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day

The 80th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia serves as a reminder that true independence is reflected in unity and collective efforts to achieve prosperity and progress for the nation.

In line with this spirit, PT Medela Potentia Tbk, through its corporate social responsibility program Argon Peduli, organized a series of blood donation drives across 15 locations in 14 cities on six Indonesian islands throughout August 2025.

In collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (Palang Merah Indonesia/PMI), Argon Peduli provided blood donation services for the general public, business partners, and employees at 12 branch offices of PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM); the medical device manufacturing facility of PT Deca Metric Medica (DMM); as well as at the PMI Gallery and the Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD) of PMI Bekasi.

The program attracted 720 participants, resulting in 620 units of donated blood, comprising 143 units of blood type A, 196 units of type B, 231 units of type O, and 50 units of type AB.

These donations will strengthen PMI’s blood supply to support patients in need in Bandung, Yogyakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Malang, Bekasi, Pekanbaru, Lampung, Medan, Pangkalpinang, Banjarmasin, Denpasar, and Makassar.
