Argon Peduli Partners with Universities to Promote Wellness and Social Impact in East Java

PT Medela Potentia Tbk, through its Argon Peduli demonstrated its commitment to public health by organizing a social service activity that included health screenings, medical treatment, and the distribution of basic necessities. The event took place on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Community Hall of Sumber Bendo Housing Complex, Jember Regency, East Java.
The health screening covered blood pressure checks, cholesterol, and blood sugar testing for more than 200 local residents. The entire activity was supported by professional healthcare personnel through a strong collaboration between the company and the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Jember (FF UNEJ), Citra Husada Hospital Jember, and the Gladak Pakem Community Health Center.
The event was attended by several key figures, including Mr. Dwi Setiawan, Branch Manager of PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) Jember; Dr. Fifteen Aprila Fajrin, Apt., S.Farm., M.Farm., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at FF UNEJ; Dr. Dian Agung Pangaribowo, Apt., S.Farm., M.Farm., Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni at FF UNEJ; and Ms. Ika Norcahyanti, Apt., M.Sc., Head of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) Jember and Supervising Lecturer of the Drug Information Center (PIONEER) at FF UNEJ.
Mr. Dwi Setiawan reaffirmed the company’s social responsibility commitment. “We are committed to being present in the heart of the community—not only as a healthcare product distributor, but as an active partner contributing to the improvement of quality of life,” he stated.

Dr. Dian Agung Pangaribowo expressed appreciation for the synergy created through this initiative. “This is a meaningful collaboration in our shared mission of community service. The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Jember is open to further cooperation for future social initiatives. Our lecturers and students are ready to contribute,” he said.
Residents who attended also welcomed the presence of the initiative in their neighborhood. “We hope this kind of program can be held regularly each year. AAM Jember has already been a positive partner in various efforts, from distributing basic goods to providing trash bins for our residents,” said Mr. Bejul Nasution, S.H., Head of Neighborhood Association RW 04.
Driven by a spirit of collaboration between the business sector, academia, and local communities, this initiative stands as a real-world example of how cross-sector synergy can generate direct and sustainable benefits for society.
