PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) and its subsidiaries, through Argon Peduli, participated in a Free Health Screening Program held in commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan/BPOM RI). The program took place on 28–31 January 2026 at the BPOM RI Office in Jakarta.
The activity was attended by the Head of BPOM RI, Prof. Taruna Ikrar, Ph.D., along with deputy heads, directors, and Heads of Regional BPOM Offices from various regions, who also made use of the health screening services. The presence of BPOM RI’s leadership and officials created a warm and meaningful atmosphere, reflecting a strong spirit of collaboration in promoting awareness of the importance of regular health check-ups.
Argon Peduli’s participation was realized through the provision of AND-brand blood pressure monitors, marketed by subsidiary PT Djembatan Dua, to ensure the accuracy and quality of blood pressure measurements for participants. Blood pressure screening serves as an important initial step in routine health monitoring as part of promotive and preventive healthcare efforts.

In addition, subsidiary PT Karsa Inti Tuju Askara (KITA), through GoApotik, contributed by providing access to teleconsultation services and facilitating easier access to medicines. By leveraging digital platforms, GoApotik helps expand access to safe, reliable, and easily accessible healthcare services.
President Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, Mr. Krestijanto Pandji, expressed his appreciation for BPOM RI’s role over the past 25 years in safeguarding the quality and safety of health products in Indonesia.
“Happy 25th Anniversary to the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority. BPOM has played a strategic role in protecting the public through the supervision of high-quality, high-standard medicines and food products. Its achievement as a WHO Listed Authority (WLA) represents global recognition of the credibility and capability of Indonesia’s health regulatory system. The participation of PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries, through Argon Peduli, reflects our support for sustainable access to healthcare services, in line with our commitment to continuously contribute to building a strong national healthcare ecosystem,” said Mr. Krestijanto.
The Free Health Screening Program was a collaboration between Argon Peduli and Dharma Dexa, offering a range of health services including blood pressure measurement, blood glucose testing, total cholesterol testing, uric acid testing, body mass index (BMI) measurement, and other supporting health services.

During the program period, a total of 1,589 participants took part in the health screening. The results showed that only 536 participants (approximately 34%) were categorized as normal, while 1,053 participants (approximately 66%) were identified as having health risks requiring further attention.
Among the key health parameters examined, hypertension emerged as the most prevalent finding, with 452 participants recorded as having high blood pressure. This was followed by elevated cholesterol levels in 783 participants, indicating that nearly half of the participants were at risk of dyslipidemia.
Meanwhile, diabetes screening identified 136 participants with above-normal blood glucose levels, while 186 participants were found to have elevated uric acid levels.
Overall, these findings indicate that the majority of screening participants had at least one risk factor for non-communicable diseases (NCDs). This underscores the importance of strengthening health education, promoting lifestyle changes, and ensuring appropriate medical follow-up to prevent disease progression in the future.
This participation forms part of Medela Potentia’s ongoing efforts to deliver added value to public health in Indonesia, while also supporting BPOM RI’s role in ensuring the quality, safety, and availability of health products for all segments of society, in support of Indonesia’s Vision of a Golden Generation 2045.
