DAC and Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Forge Strategic Partnership to Expand Opportunities in Cambodia

Dynamic Argon Co., Ltd. (DAC), a joint venture between Dynamic Group and PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA), further strengthened its position as a trusted healthcare distribution partner in Cambodia through its strategic collaboration with Japan-based Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., marked by the official launch of Salonpas Pain Relief Patch and Salonsip Gel-Patch in Cambodia.
The launching event was held at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh on 16 May 2026 and attended by representatives from the Ministry of Health of Cambodia, the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia, healthcare professionals, business partners, and executives from Hisamitsu, Dynamic Group, Medela Potentia Group, and Dynamic Argon.
Representing the Ministry of Health were H.E. Peas Muslim, MD, Under Secretary of State of Health, and H.E. Mey Bunrong, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Advisor to the Second Vice President of the National Assembly. The event was also attended by H.E. Mr. Ueno Atsushi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, alongside representatives from the Japanese Embassy.
The collaboration reflects the long-standing bilateral relationship between Cambodia and Japan, particularly in advancing Cambodia’s healthcare sector through continued cooperation and investment.
Speaking during the event, representatives from the Ministry of Health highlighted Cambodia’s growing healthcare awareness and the importance of improving access to safe, high-quality, and easy-to-use self-care healthcare solutions for the community.

Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., globally recognized for its Salonpas brand, stated that the launch demonstrates the company’s commitment to improving quality of life through innovative healthcare products developed with advanced Japanese pharmaceutical technology.
“With advanced formulations and transdermal drug delivery technology, these products provide effective pain relief while minimizing side effects commonly associated with oral painkillers,” said Hiramatsu Taro, Head of International Division of Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
The partnership also marks another milestone for Dynamic Argon as a reliable healthcare distribution partner for multinational companies operating in Cambodia.
