The demand for blood in Cambodia continues to rise alongside the increasing need for medical services, ranging from accident treatment and childbirth complications to major surgeries and chronic disease therapies. Local media outlet Khmer Times reported that Cambodia currently requires approximately 400 blood bags per day, or nearly one blood bag every minute.

As part of its contribution to public health, a subsidiary of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, Dynamic Argon Co., Ltd. (DAC), once again organized a blood donation drive on Monday, 25 May 2026, at the DAC Head Office in Phnom Penh, in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Centre Cambodia (NBTC).

This initiative marked the sixth blood donation program conducted by DAC and reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to organizing blood donation activities twice a year to support the sustainability of Cambodia’s national blood supply.

Initiated by the DAC Human Resources Department, the event was enthusiastically attended by employees, volunteers, and healthcare professionals. The active participation of donors reflects the company’s culture of fostering care, social responsibility, and meaningful contributions to the community.

General Manager of Dynamic Argon, Ivan Setiadi, stated that sustained participation from various stakeholders plays an important role in maintaining the availability of the national blood supply.

“Maintaining the momentum of public awareness and participation is extremely important. Through the spirit of togetherness among donors and the support from the NBTC team, we hope this initiative can make a positive contribution to the community while inspiring more parties to take part,” said Ivan.

DAC also expressed its appreciation to all donors, healthcare workers, volunteers, and the NBTC team for their support in making the blood donation drive possible.
