Empowering MSME Pharmacies Through Digital Marketing, GoApotik Honored as Indonesia Digital Marketing Champions 2025

Amid the growing public demand for high-quality, accessible, and trusted healthcare products, many pharmacies, particularly those in regional areas, continue to face challenges in expanding their businesses, broadening customer reach, and improving sales performance in the digital era. Technology-driven marketing transformation has therefore become a key enabler in addressing these challenges.

 

Responding to this need, GoApotik operates as a digital healthcare platform that leverages technology and digital marketing strategies to help pharmacies expand customer reach, enhance marketing efficiency, and drive sustainable sales growth.

 

GoApotik is a digital product developed by PT Karsa Inti Tuju Askara (KITA), a subsidiary of PT Medela Potentia Tbk [MDLA]. Director of PT Karsa Inti Tuju Askara (GoApotik), Mrs. Ruth Retno Dewi, explained that GoApotik focuses on improving public access to healthcare products, ranging from vitamins, medicines, and supplements to herbal products. To date, GoApotik’s services have reached 483 cities across Indonesia.

 

In line with the development of the digital ecosystem, GoApotik has continuously and adaptively developed various marketing initiatives aligned with the latest digital platforms and trends. These strategies have proven to deliver added value for partner pharmacies and healthcare brands, particularly in expanding distribution and reaching consumers across diverse regions.

 

“Through the digitalization of marketing activities, we enable pharmacies to expand their distribution reach and deliver products throughout Indonesia,” said Mrs. Ruth.

 

For the successful implementation of its digital marketing strategies, GoApotik was recognized at the Indonesia Digital Marketing Champions 2025, receiving an Excellent distinction at the SWA Business Digest Champion Awarding organized by SWA Magazine and Business Digest.



Based on the jury’s assessment, GoApotik was recognized for its success in improving marketing and sales performance through effective utilization of technology and the development of smart, effective, and efficient digital strategies. GoApotik achieved the highest ranking with a final score of 88.9, outperforming several other participating companies.

 

Chairman of SWA Media Group, Mr. Kemal Gani, stated that GoApotik’s digital marketing strategy has delivered tangible impact for its customers.

 

“With the support of technology, GoApotik currently assists around 8,000 pharmacies, the majority of which are MSMEs. This demonstrates that digital marketing is not merely about generating traffic or popularity, but about delivering real value to customers,” said Mr. Kemal.

 

The award was presented by Deputy Chief Editor of SWA, Mr. Sujatmaka, and jury representative Dr. Istianto, to Ruth Retno Dewi on Tuesday, January 27, 2025, at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta.

 

Also present at the event were Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, Mr. Wimala Widjaja; Information Technology Director, Mr. Cahyadi Suwindra Sugondo; and GoApotik Growth Strategy Manager, Mr. Edy Harianto.
