Expert Lecture at Ma Chung University: Industry and University Collaboration



PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), a leading healthcare distribution company, leverages its end-to-end competencies, notably through its robust supply chain management capabilities.


Effective supply chain management is critical in the distribution of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, and health products to ensure access, safety, efficacy, and quality. Recognizing this, Human Resources Department of PT Medela Potentia organized an Expert Lecture for hundreds of students from the Pharmacy and Industrial Engineering programs at University of Ma Chung.


The event, held on Friday, May 17, 2024, featured key speakers including AAM Branch Logistic Control Manager, Mrs. Endah Puspitaningtyas, who delivered insights on Supply Chain Management, and AAM Quality Analyst Executive, Mr. Petrus Wahyu Utomo, who discussed Good Distribution Practices (GDP) for pharmaceuticals and medical devices.


Prominent attendees included the Head of the Pharmacy Program, apt. Martanty Aditya, S.Farm., M.Farm-Klin., and the Head of the Industrial Engineering Program, Dr. Purnomo, ST., MT., from Universitas Ma Chung.


“Successful pharmaceutical distribution relies on a seamless and adaptable supply chain to meet market demand, ensuring timely access to medications for patients and the community,” stated Mrs. Endah.


Mr. Petrus Wahyu Utomo highlighted the necessity of standardization in the pharmaceutical distribution process to guarantee the safety, efficacy, and quality of health products. “Standardization, established by BPOM RI through Good Distribution Practices regulations, is fundamental in building customer trust and ensuring product safety and efficacy. AAM is committed to practicing Good Distribution Practice to provide the best service to the Indonesian public,” he added.


This collaboration symbolizes the synergy between PT Medela Potentia subsidiaries, and University of Ma Chung in enhancing the competencies and knowledge of Indonesia's human resources. The Expert Lecture marks the beginning of further collaborative opportunities such as internships, pharmacist professional practice, and career prospects.
