PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries, through the Argon Peduli program, once again participated in a health screening initiative held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Karangpawitan Field, Karawang Regency, West Java.

This initiative focused on the early detection of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and high cholesterol. The health services provided included blood pressure checks, random blood glucose testing, cholesterol level assessments, and education on healthy lifestyle practices.

All examinations were conducted by licensed healthcare professionals and pharmacists to ensure both the accuracy of results and the quality of care. A total of 552 participants from various segments of the Karawang community—widely recognized as Indonesia’s Lumbung Padi (Barn City) took part in the program.

The Board of Directors of PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries also actively participated as volunteers, underscoring the Group’s strong commitment to health awareness and community engagement.

Among those present were Mr. Edbert Orotodan, Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk; Mrs. Juliwaty, President Director of PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM); Mrs. Nancy Kartika, HR and Sustainability Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk; Mr. Stephen Febianto Kusumo, Supply Chain & System Director of PT Anugrah Argon Medica; and Mr. Steve Nova Wibowo, Branch Manager of AAM Bekasi. Their presence and involvement in the field reflected the Group’s dedication to leading by example and delivering real impact beyond day-to-day operations.

“We hope this health screening initiative makes a tangible impact by raising awareness among the people of Karawang about the importance of preventive health,” said Mrs. Juliwaty.

“When we spoke with participants, many shared that this was either their first health screening or the first one in a very long time. This highlights the need to improve public understanding around the importance of regular check-ups. We hope this program encourages the community to be more proactive in taking preventive health measures.”

Mr. Edbert Orotodan emphasized the importance of ensuring accuracy in medical screenings through reliable diagnostic tools.

“Before someone undergoes treatment, proper health assessment is a vital first step,” he said. “That is why PT Djembatan Dua, as a medical device marketing company, provided high-quality blood pressure monitors from Japan and blood glucose meters from South Korea—to ensure that the screening results were accurate.”

In his remarks, Mr. Stephen Febianto Kusumo reaffirmed AAM’s mission in improving healthcare accessibility. “AAM contributes to public health by delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products and medical devices across its distribution network,” he explained. “With initiatives like this health screening, we bring healthcare services closer to the community in ways that are practical, relevant, and measurable.”

Non-communicable diseases remain the leading cause of death in Indonesia. Despite rising prevalence, public awareness about the importance of early detection and routine check-ups remains relatively low. Therefore, mass health screening programs such as this are essential and strategic in addressing ongoing public health challenges.

The event also featured GoApotik, a digital pharmacy platform operated by PT Karsa Inti Tuju Askara (KITA). Through GoApotik, the public can easily access healthcare products, upload prescriptions, and order medications online, helping improve healthcare accessibility for all.

Through Argon Peduli, PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries continue to strengthen their role as leaders in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries—committed not only to driving business growth, but also to delivering meaningful contributions to community well-being. Looking ahead, the Group plans to expand the reach of its CSR programs across more regions in Indonesia, as part of a long-term, inclusive, and sustainable growth strategy.
