Marking the 25th anniversary initiative of BPOM RI, PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) and its subsidiaries, through Argon Peduli, supported the One Million Trees Movement as part of the Company’s sustainability strategy integrated with its role in the national healthcare ecosystem.
This participation underscores that the Company’s responsibility extends beyond the distribution of healthcare products to include active contributions in preserving environmental quality as a long-term foundation for public health.
The tree-planting initiative was carried out progressively from January to February 2026 across multiple regions in Indonesia, including Aceh, Batam, Palembang, Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung, Cirebon, Purwokerto, Tegal, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Kediri, Banjarmasin, Makassar, Manado, and Jayapura.
As part of this initiative, a total of 850 trees were planted across the Company’s operational areas. Of this number, 750 trees were planted through 18 branch offices of PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), 75 trees by PT Deca Metric Medica (DMM), and 25 trees by PT Karsa Inti Tuju Askara (KITA) at the Dexa Site Cikarang area.
The trees planted comprised various species, including fruit trees, mangroves, and tabebuya trees, selected based on the ecological characteristics and environmental needs of each respective region. This approach ensures that the contribution is not merely symbolic but delivers relevant and sustainable environmental and social benefits.
The cross-entity and cross-regional scale of participation reflects a structured and coordinated sustainability approach, while reinforcing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values across the Company’s operational network.
HR & Sustainability Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, Mrs. Nancy Kartika, stated that this initiative forms part of the Company’s long-term strategy to integrate ESG principles into corporate governance and operational activities.
“For us, sustainability is not merely a corporate social responsibility program, but a foundation in running and growing the business. As part of the national healthcare distribution ecosystem, we recognize that environmental quality has a direct correlation with people’s quality of life. Therefore, every sustainability initiative is designed to be consistent, measurable, and capable of delivering long-term impact,” she said.
Through Argon Peduli, PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries continue to strengthen their sustainability commitment by engaging the entire operational network across regions, ensuring that social and environmental contributions remain an integral part of the Company’s growth strategy.
