The health of the Indonesian population continues to face serious challenges, ranging from the high prevalence of non-communicable diseases to the need for stronger public health awareness. Results from free health screenings conducted by the company across nine locations in eight cities revealed that 6 out of 10 participants showed elevated risk factors for chronic conditions such as hypertension, high cholesterol, and diabetes.
According to the International Diabetes Foundation (IDF) in 2024, the prevalence of diabetes among Indonesian adults reached 11.3 percent. Meanwhile, the Indonesian Ministry of Health reported that 30.8 percent of adults suffer from hypertension and 11.7 percent from high cholesterol.
A fast-paced lifestyle and poor dietary habits have further exacerbated these conditions. As such, continuous health education, greater accessibility to medicines, and the availability of safe, comprehensive, and reliable digital health services are key to helping communities safeguard their health from an early stage.
PT Karsa Inti Tuju Askara (GoApotik), a subsidiary of PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA), encouraged Indonesians to embrace a healthier and more active lifestyle by organizing a Fun Walk at the Car Free Day (CFD) in Senayan, Jakarta, on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Through this initiative, GoApotik not only invited the public to stay physically active but also promoted healthier lifestyles that align with the needs of modern society.

In collaboration with Argon Peduli, GoApotik also provided free health screenings—including blood glucose, cholesterol, and blood pressure checks—as part of its commitment to promotive and preventive healthcare, while raising greater public awareness of health issues.
The event was attended by the Board of Directors and Commissioners of PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries, alongside more than 150 employees who enthusiastically joined the 5-kilometer fun walk at Senayan CFD.
"This Fun Walk aligns with the growing health-conscious trend, particularly among younger generations, especially Gen-Z, who are increasingly aware of the importance of health. Through this initiative, we aim to encourage Indonesians to improve their quality of life by adopting healthier habits, including regular physical activity," said Mrs. Krestijanto Pandji, President Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk.

To support a dynamic lifestyle, GoApotik—positioned as #apotiktapionline—introduces a new way of accessing healthcare products through a trusted, comprehensive, and reliable digital platform.
