PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) and its subsidiaries took part in the Health Innovation Festival (HAI-Fest), held in commemoration of the 61st National Health Day at Balai Kartini, Jakarta, on Monday, 8 December 2025.

This year’s National Health Day serves as a momentum for stakeholders across the health sector to reinforce collaboration in realizing the vision of “Great Generation, Great Future.” The theme underscores that the nation's future readiness toward Indonesia Emas 2045 is fundamentally shaped by today’s public health quality.

HAI-Fest 2025 was attended by Indonesia’s Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin; Vice Minister of Health, Prof. Dante Saksono Harbuwono; President Director of BPJS Kesehatan, Dr. Ali Ghufron Mukti; President Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, Mr. Krestijanto Pandji; Director of PT KITA, Mrs. Ruth Retno Dewi; as well as leaders from across the national healthcare industry.

During the event’s opening, Vice Minister of Health Prof. Dante Saksono Harbuwono emphasized the importance of preparing Indonesia’s 2045 generation.

“We have two decades to ensure they grow into a generation that is healthy, strong, intelligent, and globally competitive,” he stated.

He highlighted that advancing downstream healthcare industries, including the development of natural-based pharmaceuticals, is essential for Indonesia to become a producer rather than merely a consumer.

MDLA’s Role in Advancing a Healthy Generation for a Stronger Future

MDLA and its subsidiaries reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the development of a healthier Indonesian generation through strengthened contributions across the healthcare value chain, from enhancing the independence of domestically produced medical devices to expanding access to safe and high-quality medicines.

At HAI-Fest 2025, MDLA showcased Stardec, a range of wound dressing products manufactured locally by PT Deca Metric Medica. Marketed by PT Djembatan Dua, these products fall within the top 10 most-used medical devices nationally by volume and are now fully manufactured by domestic industry players. This achievement demonstrates how industrial collaboration can enhance Indonesia’s capability to independently meet its medical device needs.

“PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries play an active role in delivering locally manufactured medical devices that comply with stringent safety and quality standards. We believe that strengthening national industrial capacity is essential to enhancing health system resilience and preparing a strong generation for the future,” said Mr. Krestijanto.

In parallel, MDLA also strengthens public access to medicines through GoApotik, a digital pharmacy platform that enables patients to obtain prescription and OTC medicines safely via nearby partner pharmacies online. This initiative aligns with the goal of building an inclusive and accessible healthcare ecosystem, particularly for digitally native younger generations.

“The digitalization of pharmacy services through GoApotik is a strategic step in ensuring that communities can access medicines more easily. Technology serves as a key enabler in creating an inclusive and efficient healthcare ecosystem that supports a healthier young generation,” said Mrs. Ruth Retno Dewi.
