MDLA’s Book Club: Reading, Connecting, and Sharing Perspectives

Amid busy work routines, finding time to read may seem like a small thing. For employees of PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries at HO Titan, however, reading has become a meaningful opportunity to take a pause, expand their horizons, and exchange perspectives through Book Club.
Book Club is a reading community initiated by the Human Resources Learning and Development team of PT Medela Potentia Tbk. The community provides employees with a space to enjoy books while exchanging ideas and inspiration with colleagues. Through Book Club, reading goes beyond the pages of a book and becomes a shared experience of conversation and learning.
On Friday, September 25, 2026, Book Club was held at the Connect Zone on the 4th Floor of HO Titan. The 60-minute session featured two main activities: Silent Reading Session and Sharing & Discussion.

“Book Club provides employees with an opportunity to build a reading habit, exchange perspectives, and gain new inspiration. We hope this community can contribute to fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth across PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries,” said Edgar Jeremy Tranggana, Learning & Development Associate Manager.
The session also welcomed a guest member, Harris Lesmana, President Director of PT Djembatan Dua, who joined employees during the reading and discussion sessions.
For the first 30 minutes, participants enjoyed a quiet and independent reading session. Employees could bring their favorite books from home or choose from the collection available in the Mini Library. The setting offered a moment to step away from their daily work routines and spend time reading in a relaxed atmosphere.
The session continued with Sharing & Discussion, where participants exchanged ideas, lessons learned, and interesting insights from the books they had read. The same book can offer different meanings and insights when viewed through different perspectives.
“Book Club is an interesting way to learn through a simple activity. We can read, share stories, and discover new perspectives from our colleagues. This habit of continuously learning and sharing helps us grow together at PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries,” said Harris.

Through this experience, Book Club becomes more than simply a reading activity. Books serve as a starting point for conversations, while the perspectives and experiences brought by each participant make every session a richer and more diverse learning experience.
Through Book Club, PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries continue to encourage reading as part of a broader culture of learning. One book can start a conversation, and one conversation can open the door to a new perspective.
