The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) has appointed Juliwaty as the company’s new President Director, marking a leadership transition aimed at sustaining business transformation and strengthening competitiveness in Indonesia’s healthcare distribution sector.
The meeting, held on May 12 in Jakarta, approved Mrs. Juliwaty’s appointment to replace outgoing President Director Mr. Krestijanto Pandji, who has completed his term.
The company said the transition reflects its focus on ensuring operational continuity while advancing long-term growth strategies amid ongoing changes in the national healthcare industry.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the shareholders for the trust placed in me,” Mrs. Juliwaty said in a statement. “We will continue building on a strong foundation while strengthening innovation, service quality, and collaboration to support sustainable growth.”

Corporate Secretary Mrs. Wimala Widjaja said the leadership change is expected to reinforce the company’s organizational foundation and accelerate the implementation of its business strategy.
“This appointment also reflects the company’s focus on developing internal leadership based on competence and operational experience,” Mr. Wimala said.
Mrs. Juliwaty brings more than 20 years of experience in consumer distribution and business development. She began her career in 1999 in the distribution industry, holding several positions in sales and business development before moving into the financing sector in 2004–2005.
She joined PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), a subsidiary engaged in healthcare product distribution, in 2007 and currently serves as its President Director. During her tenure, she has helped expand the company’s nationwide distribution network and strengthen its position as one of Indonesia’s leading healthcare distributors.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Universitas Sumatera Utara and a master’s degree in management with a focus on strategic management from Prasetiya Mulya School of Business and Economics.
The company said her leadership is expected to support key strategic priorities, including strengthening technology-driven distribution systems, improving operational efficiency, and expanding access to healthcare services across Indonesia.
Despite a challenging macroeconomic environment, MDLA reported solid performance in the first quarter of 2026. Net sales rose to Rp 4.03 trillion as of March 31, up from Rp 3.9 trillion a year earlier. Net profit increased 7.4% to Rp 119.32 billion, driven by stronger pharmaceutical sales and operational efficiency across its distribution network.
MDLA also continues to advance its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) agenda. Through AAM, the company has begun deploying electric vehicles for pharmaceutical distribution, adding to an earlier fleet of 106 electric motorbikes operating across 15 branches in 13 cities.
