PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA), through its corporate social responsibility initiative Argon Peduli, participated in a health screening event at Gasibu Field, Bandung, on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Attended by more than 557 enthusiastic participants, the screening provided free health checks including blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol tests as part of an early detection effort for non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

“The company’s participation in this health screening initiative reflects PT Medela Potentia Tbk’s commitment to supporting government programs in strengthening the prevention and control of chronic diseases. We believe that access to essential health services such as this should be available equitably throughout Indonesia,” said Krestijanto Pandji, President Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, who was present at the event.

This initiative also aligns with the company’s ongoing social responsibility to raise public awareness on the importance of prevention and early treatment of non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and stroke—often referred to as "silent killers" due to their tendency to develop without clear early symptoms.

The Bandung health screening marked PT Medela Potentia Tbk’s tenth participation in such programs, following consistent implementation in Jakarta, Palembang, Bandung, South Tangerang, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Bogor. Since the initiative began in 2024, over 5,000 individuals have benefited from the health screening program.

PT Medela Potentia Tbk has also established strategic collaborations with global medical device principals to provide reliable screening tools, ensuring the quality and accuracy of health screening results delivered to the public.

“Our partnerships with global principals allow us to bring medical technology innovations to Indonesia while responding to market demands for more modern and efficient healthcare solutions,” explained Edbert Orotodan, Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk.

During this health screening, PT Medela Potentia Tbk, through its subsidiary PT Karsa Inti Tuju Askara (KITA), also introduced GoApotik, a trusted digital pharmacy platform that offers easy access to a wide range of pharmaceutical and healthcare products.

As a digital platform, GoApotik expands public access to reliable health information, pharmaceutical products, and online consultation services.

Wimala Widjaja, Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, stated that through GoApotik, people can conveniently purchase medicines and health products from more than 7,000 pharmacies across 480 cities in Indonesia.

GoApotik offers over 50,000 healthcare products, including various types of medications for chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and cholesterol; as well as vitamins, nutritional supplements, herbal remedies, and beauty products tailored to the public’s healthcare needs. Users can also consult with doctors to obtain appropriate prescriptions,” Wimala explained.

The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Health, launched a nationwide health screening program on February 10, 2025, which has since reached over 5.2 million people across the country. PT Medela Potentia Tbk remains committed to supporting early detection efforts and reinforcing the role of the private sector in national healthcare programs.

Nancy Kartika, Human Resources Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, emphasized that Argon Peduli is committed to continuing its contributions to government-initiated health programs. One concrete manifestation of this commitment is the regular implementation of community health screenings across the company’s branches in Indonesia.

“These health screening activities are routinely carried out at several of our branches throughout Indonesia for communities located around our company sites,” said Ms. Nancy Kartika.
