PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) posted solid financial performance in the first half of 2026, with both sales and net profit recording double-digit growth. The performance was disclosed during the Company’s Public Expose Live held virtually on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, as part of its information disclosure to investors and the public.

MDLA recorded sales of Rp8.2 trillion in H1 2026, representing 10.1 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth compared with Rp7.4 trillion in the same period last year. The increase in sales was accompanied by stronger bottom-line performance, with net profit rising 12.6 percent YoY to Rp226 billion.

Meanwhile, gross profit increased 6.8 percent YoY to Rp762 billion, while EBITDA grew 11.2 percent YoY to Rp325 billion. The faster growth in EBITDA and net profit compared with sales reflects continued improvement in the Company’s operating performance and profitability.

Mr. Harris Lesmana, Investor Relations of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, said the Company’s H1 2026 performance was supported by a combination of volume growth, portfolio expansion, own-product development, and digital channel optimization.

“The H1 2026 performance reflects the contribution of several growth drivers, including higher distribution volumes, the addition of new principals, stronger own-product contribution, and continued digital channel expansion. At the same time, we remain focused on improving productivity and operating efficiency to support sustainable earnings growth as the business scales,” said Mr. Harris Lesmana.

The distribution business remained one of the key contributors to the Company’s performance. Through its subsidiary PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), MDLA expanded its principal portfolio by adding five new principals, comprising one ethical pharmaceutical principal, three consumer health principals, and one medical device principal.

The Company also continued to expand its own-product medical device portfolio. Stardec, marketed by subsidiary PT Djembatan Dua, recorded 34 percentsales growth, supported by the launch of two new products, Stardec DecaCare 5 Liter and Stardec DecaFoam.

The expansion of the Stardec portfolio is expected to broaden product applications and increase the contribution of own products to the Company’s overall business mix. Stardec products were previously exported to Cambodia and Timor-Leste in 2025, with further export activities planned for 2026.

Mrs. Juliwaty, President Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, said the Company’s financial performance reflects the strength of its diversified healthcare business model.

“The healthcare sector continues to present attractive structural growth opportunities. Our integrated business platform across distribution, medical devices, manufacturing, and digital solutions provides a strong foundation to capture these opportunities while maintaining disciplined execution and sustainable growth,” said Mrs. Juliwaty.

Infrastructure and Digital Transformation Drive Business Growth and Efficiency

MDLA is continuing to invest in distribution infrastructure to support its medium- to long-term growth strategy. Construction of the AAM Medan warehouse has reached 95% completion and is targeted to commence operations in Q4 2026. The facility is expected to strengthen the Company’s distribution capacity and service coverage across Sumatra.

The Company is also preparing for the development of National Distribution Center (NDC) 2 in 2027, which will primarily serve cold-storage requirements. The facility is planned to be developed on a 2.7-hectare site in the Jababeka 2 Industrial Estate.

On the digital side, GPOS B2B recorded 20 percent sales growth, while coverage expanded by 15%. The platform currently works with 18 principals covering 40 product brands. The implementation of AI Forecast has also supported inventory management, bringing the Company’s out-of-stock rate to below 2 percent.

Integrating Sustainability into Business Growth

MDLA continues to integrate ESG considerations into its business and operational initiatives. On the environmental front, the Company has installed a 93.75 kWp DC solar power system at AAM Tangerang and expanded fleet electrification to 107 electric vehicles across 15 branches in 13 cities.

Through its social initiative Argon Peduli, the Company has reached 8,505 beneficiaries, engaged 56 communities, and conducted programs across 27 cities, 18 provinces, and six islands.

On governance, AAM continues to collaborate with the National and Regional Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) to strengthen the implementation of Good Distribution Practices for Pharmaceuticals (CDOB). The programs have been conducted in eight cities and reached 836 pharmacists.

With continued sales growth, expanding distribution capacity, and ongoing productivity and efficiency initiatives, MDLA remains focused on strengthening its earnings base and capturing further growth opportunities in Indonesia’s healthcare sector.
