Healthcare distribution plays a vital role not only in ensuring the availability of healthcare products across Indonesia, but also in strengthening a healthcare system that is increasingly reliable and sustainable.
As the healthcare industry continues to evolve, operational efficiency, environmental responsibility, social impact, and sound corporate governance have become complementary pillars in creating long-term value for both businesses and society.
Recognizing this, PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) and its subsidiaries have integrated Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into the Group's business strategy and operations.

Through a comprehensive transformation, the Company has implemented a wide range of initiatives, including the decarbonization of its distribution fleet, operational digitalization, expanded access to healthcare services, and strengthened corporate governance to create long-term value while supporting sustainable healthcare.
These efforts have been recognized with the Top Honor at the IDX Channel ESG Awards 2026, held at the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building in Jakarta on Wednesday (July 29).
PT Medela Potentia Tbk was the only listed healthcare company to receive the award. Carrying the theme "Beyond Compliance: Leveraging ESG to Create Long-Term Corporate Value," the IDX Channel ESG Awards 2026 recognized 30 companies across 11 industry sectors for their consistent implementation of sustainable business practices.

The award was presented by Budi Santosa, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IDX Channel, to Endang Sukandar, Environmental Pillar Leader of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, accompanied by Nancy Kartika, Sustainability Director, and Dominicus Savio Winata, Social Pillar Leader, the Company's ESG Committee, which leads the development and implementation of the Group's ESG strategy, including presenting its sustainability transformation during the judging process.
The transformation is reflected in a series of measurable environmental initiatives. The Company successfully reduced its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions intensity by 18 percent compared to the 2023 baseline, while lowering average fuel costs by 17 percent against the 2024 baseline.

achievements were supported by the deployment of 106 electric motorcycles across 15 branches in 13 cities, the use of electric operational vehicles, the implementation of AI Routing to optimize distribution routes, and carbon emissions measurement through the Unravel Carbon platform. In addition, MDLA has begun utilizing renewable energy through the installation of a 90 kWp solar power system at its Tangerang branch.
The Company's sustainability commitment also extends to food waste management through its collaboration with Food Cycle Farm. Between May 2025 and April 2026, the initiative successfully processed more than 9.8 tonnes of food waste, converting it into fish feed through a circular economy approach while contributing to measurable carbon emissions avoidance.

On the social front, MDLA continues to expand healthcare access through its Argon Peduli program, which has reached 58,103 beneficiaries as of 2025, including 9,255 participants receiving free health screenings across various regions. The Company also promotes an inclusive workplace, with 33 percent of leadership positions held by women while continuing to provide employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.
From a governance perspective, MDLA has embedded ESG principles into its business processes and decision-making. The Company continues to strengthen governance through its Sustainability Committee, implementation of the Code of Ethics, enhancement of personal data protection, Quality Risk Management practices, and compliance training programs for employees to foster a culture of integrity across the Group.

The implementation of ESG has generated tangible environmental and social impact while reinforcing the Company's operational performance. The reduction in emissions intensity and fuel consumption has gone hand in hand with 16 percent year-on-year net profit growth in 2025, demonstrating that sustainability and business growth can progress together.
Nancy Kartika, Sustainability Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, expressed her appreciation to IDX Channel for organizing an award that encourages companies to continuously strengthen their sustainability practices.

"We would like to express our sincere appreciation to IDX Channel for this recognition. For us, this award is not merely an achievement but also a motivation to further strengthen ESG implementation as an integrated part of Medela Potentia's entire business, with the ultimate goal of advancing sustainable healthcare," said Nancy Kartika.
In his remarks, Syafril Nasution, CEO of IDX Channel, expressed his hope that the award would encourage more companies to strengthen their commitment to sustainability.
"We hope this award serves not only as a form of appreciation, but also as a catalyst for more companies to strengthen their commitment to sustainability, transparency, corporate governance, and innovation," said Syafril.

Also attending the event, Minister of Environment Jumhur Hidayat emphasized that sound environmental, social, and governance practices have become an essential driver of long-term corporate competitiveness.
"By managing environmental, social, and governance aspects effectively, companies are able not only to improve financial performance, but also to strengthen risk management, foster innovation and operational efficiency, and enhance access to financing through greater investor confidence," said Jumhur Hidayat.
President Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, Juliwaty, said the award would further motivate the Company to continue transforming healthcare distribution through sustainable business practices.
"We believe that healthcare distribution plays a strategic role in ensuring the continuity of healthcare services across Indonesia. Therefore, every transformation we undertake is aimed not only at improving operational efficiency, but also at building a more resilient, transparent, and sustainable distribution system. This recognition encourages us to continue creating greater value for the community, our business partners, and all stakeholders," said Juliwaty.

For PT Medela Potentia Tbk, this recognition marks another milestone in its transformation journey toward building a healthcare distribution system that is increasingly efficient, resilient, transparent, and sustainable. The Company believes that sustainability is not merely an ESG objective, but a fundamental driver for creating long-term value while advancing sustainable healthcare in Indonesia.
