Shaping the Future of Supply Chain and Careers: Medela Potentia Holds Expert Lecture at UPH


Blockchain technology is becoming increasingly vital in delivering various benefits such as transparency, efficiency, data security, and streamlined logistics across multiple industries, including supply chain management.


This theme was the focus of the Expert Lecture session organized by the HR team of PT Medela Potentia on Friday, February 7, 2025, at University of Pelita Harapan (UPH), Tangerang, Banten. 


The Expert Lecture, titled “Blockchain Technology in Tomorrow’s Supply Chain,” was presented by Mr. Rommy Firaldi, Head of Supply Chain at PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), and attended by dozens of students from various programs, including Industrial Engineering, Management, and Information Technology.


Also in attendance were Dr. Laurence, M.T., IPM., Director of Administration at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UPH; Mrs. Agustina Christiani, M.Eng.Sc., Lecturer of Industrial Engineering at UPH; Mr. Rudy Vernando Silalahi, M.T.; and Mr. Christopher Nata, S.T., M.M.

Beyond serving as an update on the latest developments and innovations in Supply Chain Management (SCM), this Expert Lecture provided valuable insights into how blockchain technology plays a key role in creating a more efficient, transparent, and integrated supply chain system.


“We believe that blockchain technology offers significant advantages in improving efficiency and transparency in supply chains, enabling faster and more accurate distribution of healthcare products—from planning to delivery,” said Mr. Rommy.



Career Opportunities for Industrial Engineering Students at PT Medela Potentia


In addition to the Expert Lecture, the HR team of PT Medela Potentia also took the opportunity to share insights on career prospects for Industrial Engineering students.
