Strengthening Collaboration, Medela Potentia Donates Medical Equipment to Indonesian Midwives Association

Medela Potentia, through Argon Peduli, continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare services for the Indonesian public by donating 1,000 units of vaginal speculum medical equipment to the Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI). The medical equipment was handed over by a representative of Argon Peduli, Mr. F. Nommensen Siahaan, to representatives of IBI on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the IBI headquarters in Central Jakarta.

As the leading frontline professional organization with a crucial role closest to the community, IBI plays a crucial role in providing quality healthcare services. With this donation of vaginal speculum medical equipment, it is hoped to enhance the access and quality of services provided by midwives to the community, especially in women's reproductive health.

"With this donation, it is hoped that the gap in access to healthcare services can be reduced, so that more women can receive timely and quality healthcare examinations," said Nancy Kartika, HR Director of Medela Potentia.

The vaginal speculum medical equipment is an important medical instrument in women's reproductive health examinations. Its presence is essential in routine examinations, disease screenings, and other sampling procedures.

Dr. Ade Jubaedah, SSiT, MM, Chairperson of the Central IBI, expressed appreciation to Dharma Dexa and Argon Cares for their support for midwifery services to the community.

"On behalf of the Central Board of IBI, we are very grateful for the donation of medical equipment, especially vaginal speculum," said Dr. Ade Jubaedah.
